Drunk Book Tag

We all love alcohol, right? Right behind tea and books. Of course, a mixture of the three would be optimal, but you do with what’s available. I’ll try not to get too drunk while writing this (mostly because I have a P-Chem test in the morning), but we’ll see.

Wine cooler (Guilty Pleasure)
Eragon by Christopher Paolini. I’ve said this before, and I’m saying it again. I have a nostalgic love for this series even if it is objectively not that good.

Beer (New Adult/College Age)

Glass by Ellen Hopkins. I’m not actually a fan of beer, and similarly, I’m not a particular fan of the new adult genre. I don’t really read much. Technically, Glass might be a YA, not NA book, but hey, it’s the closest that I can remember.

Tequila (Least favorite book)
Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea by April Genevieve Tucholke, maybe? I liked it, just less than my other favorite books.

Beer Bong (A book you finished fast)
Looking for Alaska by John Green. It isn’t even close to being my favorite book, but I read it in a day.

Spring Break (Smut read)
I think I’m supposed to choose my favorite smut book, but I’m just going with the smuttiest book I’ve read instead. The Witching Hour by Anne Rice.

Screwdriver (Twisted)
The Child Thief by Brom. And I loved every bit of it.

Long Island Iced Tea (Favorite diverse reads)
A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini.

Sex on the Beach (Didn’t live up to the hype)
Divergent by Veronica Roth, Outlander by Diana Gabaldon, The Maze Runner by James Dashner, and Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia. Hate me all you want, but I honestly think these books aren’t nearly as good as people make them out to be.

Wine (Made you cry all your feels)

Harry Potter. I'm not much of a crier. I'm not saying that as some insecure attempt to sound masculine. It just isn't how I express my emotions. So, this one was the hardest to pick, but Harry Potter (probably for various reasons) comes closest to the mark.

Strip Club (Sexiest naked book)

Most of my books are paperbacks. Of the ones with jackets, though, I would probably have to say Veronica Roth's Allegiant

For my own addition to the tag, we all now have to take a shot for every book mentioned. Double shot if you've read the book. Drink up.
